This sucks, I left the lights on and my battery died and now my radio needs a radio code and i dont have one i dont think the dealer ever gave me one and when i went to ask for it they said that dont store them on the computers so they will need to take the radio out and use the serial number to track down the radio code and thats gonna have to be scheduled and its gonna cost $79.99 and even if i find my radio code somewhere i cant use it because i already tried 15 random codes that dont work and now my radio displays C0DE ErrE and i cant type in anymore codes so i guess until i feel like paying my dealer $79.99 i will have to listen to the beautiful sound of the F20C and not my new Redman CD
and that was a run-on sentence.

I was told by Honda customer service that they will provide an owner with the radio code if he or she faxes the serial number of the radio with a copy of the registration. Of course, you have to pull the radio to get the serial number.

I wouldn't pay ANY honda dealer for my radio code, ESPECIALLY if its where I purchased my car & my car is under warranty. . .
If your dealer didn't give you the cosde at time of purchase, then their at fault. . . This is a simple case of customer service, your dealer should treat any work to get the serial number off of the radio as a warranty repair. . .

The Dealer should have the radio code information on file when you bought the car. All you should have to do is talk to your salesman.
In addition, to make the "error" code disappear (so you can try more codes if you like), disconnect the battery for ~15 minutes until the capacitor in the radio runs out (no more memory of the invalid codes entered).

The dealer should not charge you a dime on this one. I have had Acura's for a long time and everytime this happens, they always provide me the code for FREE. all they need is my VIN and they can trace the code on their computer.
I hope it gets resolved soon bro. Goodluck.
