Happens to all of us at some point. I can't speak to whether the 2004 antenna is different, but you can get the earlier ones for about $15 each or less on Internet Honda parts sites. I ordered two, so I have a back-up for the next time it happens. Either that or don't park the car where any people are

I heard the same thing about Beetles and my good freind of 20 years confirmed it by pulling mine off and doing a quick install on his 2002 Beetle and yes it was able to pick up radio stations at a greater distance.

You got any V W buddies??????

I had mine stolen last week at a grocery store parking lot. I was just so happy that the rest of the car was not vandalized. I'll buy one every other month as long as they leave my baby alone.

I know VW drivers and as well as Toyota drivers purchase S2000 antenna for their car. In fact alot of VW drivers put S2000 antenna on their Jetta or GTi.

I've had S2000 antenna on my GTi. Yet, alot of VW drivers talk bad about Honda products. How ironic is that?

You can try a few sources here. . .

HardTop Guy

H and A Accessories

I've done business with both vendors and both are very reputable.

Also, the Element and Civic Si uses the same "type" of antenna. You can also go with an Insight antenna if you prefer a slimer, longer antenna.

I've never tried, but it seems the 350Z antenna would also work with our car, it's very similar to the Insight antenna.
