Came across some information about an S2000 being raced is a GT Performance series in Australia. The car is run by David Wood, who previously ran an Integra Type-R and would still regularly win with a 75Kg weight penalty.

David is now running his car against a mustang Cobra and local Aussie V8s.

The car is fairly stock basic changes are:-
- Engine management upgrades - but still 9,000RPM limited.
- Straight exhaust
- Springs
- Shocks
- Camber/Castor

That's pretty cool. How is he doing against the big boys??? I tried the link. but it took forever to load.

 

He is finding a hard job against the Cobra & V8s - The people that run this category have buggered it by letting in som un matched cars.

David is now running 6th in the program.
