Thanks man, I really dont have a specific color in mind. As for the year I would like it to be an 02 or newer. Just keep an eye out for a good deal.

Sorry to hear about your S, I can't really tell from the pics, but are those S02's? What was the thread life on them? I currently have all season Yokohama's on and have thought about buying some S02's if they were cheap enough for the summer, but reading so many horror stories about the poor performance of the S02's in the rain, I guess I'll just stick to the all seasons.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. Just curious - what year S are you looking to get now?

Ford just settled on the Explorer suit. If you sawed at the wheel enough with a top heavy vehicle, you could get it to flip. Amazing

You guys are making me nervous about the wife driving in the rain. She drives the S2000 about half the time. Right now the car has new Winter Sports on it. Next summer the OEM summer tires with 10k miles on them go back on. The center grove has 6/32 of an inch left. The groves closer to the sides of the tires have a little less. The car has never felt squirly but I would hate to hit deep standing water.

As for the impulse to replace the car you wrecked with another one. Think about it. What was the right car for your situation a few years ago might have changed. Like gas prices have. Now would be the time to test drive some other cars
