Default quetion about s2k price

Hi i was interested in buying an s2k and i was wondering if an 04 gpw with 21k miles for 18500 a good deal? I was hoping i could bargain the car lower because it is a 5 year old car, and i understand that gpw is pretty hard to get. What do you guys think? Thanks for your imput.

not bad for a low mileage AP2.

Down to 17 something and it's a great deal!

I agree, 17 would be the number. BTW there not so rare anymore..., Since I bought mine I see more and more of them.

If it's a dealer, I think you could get away with $16,500. They're getting desperate....especially if you live in the snow belt. If it's private party, he/she may be harder to negotiate with (they can't make up the difference by gauging someone on a civic the same day).

gpw isnt that hard to find??
ive been having the hardest time finding a realy good deal on one..im looking at more '00 and "01 because those are closer to 10k
all ive been looking at are GPW NFR and rio/spa whatever it is for AP1s
ill grab a silverstone or something if the price is right..other then that i mainly want a gpw

Not hard at all. When I purchased mine there were 3 others that I was looking at all GPW with red/black interior. Just gotta look.

Just did a quick search on Yahoo. Found a CPO MY04 with 35K for less than $16...and that's asking money.

Now's the time to buy an S. Low ball the heck out of them, and get the best price you can.
