Questions RE: Mingster's Dead Pedal
#11
Sorry to hear you had a problem with it. Lemme try and call around to see if there's any hardware stores around our area that you might be able to get it at. There's a home depot right off the 71 in Chino Hills. Lemme know the outcome.

I used 1/4" tapered wooden plugs that I bought at Home Depot. They come in a plastic bag of 12 (?) located near the dowels. Hammered them in from the bottom of the dead pedal. From the top of the dead pedal, I inserted the rubber feet (from Radio Shack)using superglue. It worked perfectly.

NP Josh.
It was great meeting you also. I'd just like to let everyone know that the reason I sold Mingster's dead pedal to Silver was that when I bought the front grill(which looks awesome BTW) they had a special on their dead pedal also for $40 with the stoppers. I figured WTH. I believe that Mingster's dead pedal is a little thicker but both are high quality items.

I just received my dead pedal from hondas2000accessories.com yesterday, opened the bag, used a socket to take the plastic one off, used an allen key to put the new one on. Total instal time = 35 seconds (it comes with exact match rubber plugs) Group buy = $39.95 Super nice peolpe to deal with.

Ok, I'll bite since you have asked this question at least 5 times in the last few weeks: what is the thickness of their pedal?
And why does the thickness make any difference in this application? You seem to be implying that yours is thicker and therefore superior.
