Trust me, chicks dig it.
When it's parked, I always hear females say "that's a sexy car" or "I really like that color!" Guys usually say, "sweet car" or "nice ride."
And my bf has gotten hit on while driving my baby.
I've only heard it called "gay" by one guy, and he was from s2ki, so he doesn't count.

I have to agree w/all the other posts. I got my car in the begining of july this summer and have gotten nothing but positive comments from men and women. I must say I think I've gotten a lot of comments on the color (mostly from women) saying that it is a beautiful color. Go for the Blue!

I get a lot of comments on mine, some for the car, some for the color. I like it more every time I see it... And I'm usually a silver car fan.
I showed it to some friends who thought I should have gotten the Sebring when I was in the decision phase. However, when they saw my car, they had an immediate and unanimous change of heart.
Get what you like, who cares what anyone else thinks, but it's not "gay" or "girly" - any more than any other S2000 is at least

I understand your concern. When I was trying to pick a color, my wife was concerned that the blue would be too much of a "girl's color". I was also worried that the all-blue interior would be too much blue. When I finally saw one in person, I decided on the spot that it was the color I was going to order. Like all the others who've posted before me, I have received nothing but positive feedback about the color.
On the other hand, I don't know why all us Suzuka blue owners are trying to convince more people to buy blue -- that only makes our cars less unique.

Sounds like the consensus is that blue is unique. It is a rare and beautiful color.
I'm personally debating between red and blue. Red is my favorite color in general for cars without doubt, but red has different connotations than blue. Needless to say: Blue = Cool. Red = Hot. Yeah, pure genius on my part.
I've yet to see the blue in person, and I may fall in love with it. I have a red car and I love how it looks. Two red cars may be too much red.
I won't make up my mind until I see both up close. Probably to the average person, suzuka blue is subtle, cute, and sexy while red is hot and sexy in a different way.
Hehe, a hotty versus a cutie. Which would you choose?

The blue is great, but the jury is out on the interior. I'd prefer black. Most customers that come in either love it to death or wouldn't buy it at all. The people that do not like it I think are crazy, but whatever. I think that what most blue S2000 owners don't realize is that you are only going to get compliments from people. You are most likely not to have someone come over and say your color sucks. Those people won't say anything at all. It's kinda like yellow. A lot of people won't buy yellow because it's too brazen. Everyone compliments me on yellow, but no one ever says it sucks. I'm sure that many have said it under their breath. But hey it's all what you like.
