Question for S2K owners
With the gas prices hitting $4.00 a gallon and beyond, how much would you be willing to pay per gallon?
"If a person makes $100K a year, takes home approximately $60K net pay, works 260 days a year, commutes 50 miles a day, averages 20 mpg, at $92 per gallon, he would actually loose money by going to work. At $50 per gallon, he would be spending $32.5K a year just on gas to commute to work. If he buys a Prius and gets 45 mpg, he would be saving $18K a year." -NAGTROC

I certainly won't be driving the S2000 if gas goes above $5/gallon. My motorcycle gets 60 mpg.
Mike is right, food prices are going to be a bigger issue...it will force many restaurants out of business and people who don't know how to cook and stock pile food are going to be in a world of trouble. I for one will not be joining the mobs standing in long lines to buy 1 loaf of bread for $50.00
