Question on S2000's imported in 2K3....color wise?
I was told by the dealership that my Spa Yellow is going to be the last yellow to be imported in the US for the year. Not sure on the truth on this so I figured I'd ask. How many of each color was imported in the US? How can I determine what number mine will be out of that? I already have the VIN number for it, and the last 4 digits are 6987.
Is there any site on this info? Any way to determine if she was just blowing smoke up my @$$? Thanks, and I'm sure others would be interested as well

HI,
There has been a brochure from Honda stating that Spa Yellow will not be offered in 2004. It is being replaced by a darker yellow. I'm sure someone will chime in with the color name.

If the color chart is to be believed, Spa Yellow is getting replaced by Rio Yellow. Of course, Silverstone was replaced by Sebring Silver, but later made a comeback, so who knows?
In any case, if the dealer is trying to get you to pay more just because the car is Spa, give him the finger.

Yeah, taht's what I figured. As for hiking the price, it was set in writing so they couldnt. Even if they tried, I wouldnt pay. I have agreed on a price and that's it.
OK, how many S2000's are imported in the US per year? Anyone know? I have searched and saw 5000, 6000, and so on. Anyone know more on it? Thanks

For MY02 I believe the figure was somewhere between 9-10k imported to the U.S.
There is a thread that discussed this in detail but I couldn't tell you how to find it in a search.
