I want to make sure that this price is not too high for VAF-C tuning. I am going to cut and paste the email from the shop.


We've installed and tuned hundreds of SAFC and VAFC devices in all kinds of cars including Hondas. I'll check through my archives to see how many S2000s were done. The typical tuning involves installing an O2 port so that our wide band O2 sensor can monitor AFR on the dyno and log it with hp & tq. This allows very quick modification to the fuel curve. So $125 with this O2 Port thing. Does that sound a little high. Just curious I dont want to throw the money away.

125 sounds about right

3 pulls on the dyno i went was $60(group discount) and took about 30 mins so its a comparable price and i didnt do any o2 sensor stuff since it was just for a baseline

If you think $125/hour is fair, then go for it. I had 2 hours of dyno tuning for my V-AFC and paid $70/hour.
