Default Question on brake in of brembo brake kit.

Hi all,

I am interested in a set of used brembo brake kit which my friend is selling. The question before I make my mind to purchase it is: Does brembo brake kit (or any brand of new brake system) need to be properly broken in? If it's not properly broke in, is it going to have any affect on the brake system in the future? Your inputs are very appreciated!

Other than "seating" the pads to the rotors, they shouldn't require any special break in. No pun intended.

AS far as I know, the brand new rotor and pad need a "heat cycle." I dont know if that correct or not. If didnt do it right, what would happen?
