I wash and wax often...but it is all worth it. And every other car on the road is some shade of grey it seems.

If you buy black you better have a garage, car cover, California car duster and lots of time for washing & waxing.

Black is a little high maintenance but when it's clean its all worth it especially at night.

With high quality soaps and wash mitts (sheepskin) and a good shammy, you'll reduce the amounts of swirl marks you'll get. Regardless you WILL have them and there's not much you can do about it. I deal with them by using zaino products, they (z-5 and z-2) MASK the siwrls quite well.

:edit: After about 2 coats of z-5 and 1 coat of z-2, swirls are hardly noticed even in direct sunlight. Other high quality waxes will probably do this as well, but I can't say since I've only used Zaino products on my berlina.

I have to admit, black is the best looking color. My Formula is black, and I had a black truck a few years ago. Never again. Only thing I would get that high maintence again is Monte Carlo Blue, or some similar shade of blue on another kind of car.
