I have never owned a black car. Is it as bad as everyone says it is? Black is my number one choice when I get my S2k but I really don't want to have to worry about washing it everyday or having paint swearls. Berlina owners, is it worth it to get black because it is obviously the best looking

I think Silverstone Metallic is a nice compromise when it comes to picking a darker color. You can hardly see any dust on it. Here's a thread with pics of my car and it wasn't even clean...

just what emrillive said, "yep" its really up to you. im not gonna lie to you. i own a black s2k. yes it is harder to keep clean but hey, it does look pretty nice when washed.

 

They look GREAT for 10 mins after they come off the dealers lot. After that it's all downhill

When cared for properly (and it's a lot of work) the Berlina is the best looking car on the road. Otherwise......

 

I agree with most above.

Nothing looks better than a MINT black paint job. My next car will be blue or silver.
