Oh yea, and bring gloves if you plan on putting the top down!
Close the passenger vent put the heater on top down mode at full blast point your vents at your ears.

Switch between the top down setting and the setting that hits your feet and top vents.

If it's above 30 you can do it for a while (if your not a wuss).

Wecome to the S2k club! As a fellow Ithacan and year 'round driver I can assure you that the S2000 will go in snow but NOT WITH THE OEM TIRES! If there is even a hint of frost on the road you will have some problems, so go carefully. However, the weekend forecast suggests temps in the 30s so maybe you'll be okay.

BTW, there are several of us in Ithaca although most of the local S2000s are garage queens which you won't see until the warmer weather. Hope to see you soon!

Do what I did. Ask the dealer to keep the car there for a while. Then when you get some good weather, go get it.

As Skip said, we have lots of garage queens, and I know I'm happy with my queen. Here is a little shot, sort of close to your home, actually closer to EricN's, but you get the idea.

It's not necessarily the snow, it's the cold weather. The SO2s turn to seriously hard rubber below about 50 degrees. In a straight line you're OK, but don't try to take a fast turn Also, if you want this to be a garage queen, be prepared to wash it down completely to get the road salt out of the engine bay and suspension.

just picked her up i am so excited. what a long trip though, damn. but it was worth it i got a beauty. she is in mint condition, she came with a car cover, and the convertable boot cover. it is white with 33,000 miles. i scored her for only $20,500. not a bad buy if i do say so myself.
