Question about the relevance of bigger rims and steering wheel
Hi, I have a set of 16' rims on my car now, and I'm gonna have a set of 18' rims and tires mounted next week. I'm just wondering if going to bigger rims will make the steering wheel firmer and more tightened? My salesman told me it would, but he couldn't explain to me the reasons. Is what he said making sense?
My guess is that it's because of the added weight, but I'm curious if there's any other factor other than weight. Maybe those of you who are good at physcis can help me with my question. Thanks! :-)

Wantone did a great write up on BBS LM rims. In it, he speaks about the steering feel difference between having 16" wheels with standard tires versus 18" wheels with a wider footprint. Check out his review at http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=115619
Take a look at the section that says "Part 3: My Impression". He states that the car doesn't feel "as agile" as with the 16" on. There is more "road feel" with the 18".
