Question about interior colors
Sup all. I've recently fallen in love with the S2ks. Now that I got the job+money to get one, I've been researching about them and hopefully will get one when I see the right price and condition.
I'm interested in the silver colored s2k. I've seen some interiors partly red, and some where its mostly red, like on the dash and everywhere. Did this happen from a certain year, is it on both sebrings and silverstone?
Also were the silverstone and sebring both released from 2000 onwards?
Thanks,
-Dan

From what I can gather, the model years 00-01 had a black dashboard but red seats with red carpet also had a carpeted center console. It has black door panels but with red inserts. However on the 02-03 models the entire interior is red including the dash and door panels. The center console is red vinyl instead of carpet. The 04-07 models came with a black dash but the seats are now black with red inserts and the door panels have red inserts. I believe that is accurate. I believe sebring and silverstone have always been available. However sebring was discontinued in 06 or 07.

Its my opinion if your choosing the Silverstone or Sebring colors try to opt for the full black interior.
I have a new 07 and I swapped out my red/black interior for the all black. I felt that the silver and black contrast was better than having a red/black/silver combination - too many colors and the red was out of place.
Plus the red looks like a light red and just felt wrong.

I think everyone above is correct on the interior color options.
I have an '02 Silverstone with solid Red interior. I love it. I get more compliments from women on the red interior than anything.

There are certain years where Sebring and Silverstone are not available.
This is off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure this is right:
00-01: Silverstone is the only silver color available. Black Interior or Red/Black interior available (seats are all red)
02: Sebring Introduced; Silverstone not available (Maskdman3 - I think you meant to say you have Sebring/Red not Silverstone) - Black interior or All Red Interior
03-06: Sebring and Silverstone available. For 03 models, black or all red interior is . For 04+ AP2 models, black interior available or red/black interior with seats being black with a red center.
07: Sebring cancelled; Only Silverstone available - Same options as 04+ (black or red/black).

Silverstone was brought back in 2003.

2000-2001 Silverstone Option of all black or Red/Black interior. Red Carpet, Red Door Panel INSERTS, All red seats. Carpet center console (also red.) The rest, black.
2002 Sebring Silver (No Silverstone Offered) Option of all black or ALL red interior. Red Dash, ALL red door panels, red roll hoops and glove box, red door sills, red radio door. Vinal (leather-like) center console (also red.)
2003 Silverstone returns, Sebring continues, Option of all black or ALL red interior (Same as above.)
2004+ Sebring Or Silverstone Option of all black or NEW red/black interior. Red Carpet, red door panel INSERTS, red vinal center console, two-tone red/black seats. The rest, black.
They have since discontinued Sebring. I can't remember the last year for it, I think 2006, but I am not sure.
I had the all black in 2003, and swapped in bits and pieces from other cars, or got stuff from Ricks, or had stuff custom made. This is pretty much what it looks like now:
