I also used a dremmel. If one is truly worried about upclose looks, then powdercoating is the only way to go. With the paints, it is next to impossible to get a perfectly level application.

Yes, I did grind the calipers with them mounted to the vehicle. I used an angled die grinder with a cone shaped grinding wheel.
