Default Question about the AP1 Tailights

Ok, the reflector/red big peice on my taillights are faded. I was wondering if i can buy just the reflector separatly anywhere so i can replace it. If not, i was thinking about just gettin it cleared out, maybe by some kind of alcahol or something. Is there anything i can use that will turn it clear?

There was a recall on these a few years back. This happened to MY00 and I brought it to the dealership and they replaced it with no questions asked. I tried to find the link, or UTB, but no luck. I'll keep looking for it though.

So if i take this to a honda dealership, they will replace it for free? Do i have to be under warranty for that cuz im not.

I think the best thing for me to do is either smoke these out or clear em.

Mine wasn't under warranty since I did have about 100k miles on the car. Just print out that Service Bulletin and bring it your dealer. What do you have to lose besides 15 mins.?

If all fails give my friend a call. He has some MY00-MY01 revise tail lights. Tell him I sent you.
