[QUOTE=xviper,Sep 24 2004, 08:15 PM] I have a Hawker battery and with the car off for several hours, my battery's resting voltage is around 12V.

Took the top down with the car on at the Honda dealership when I took a test drive, salesman didn't say a word about it.

like the salesman will know any better - they don't even know their own products

I agree with your story about the water not getting in Phantom but I have to ask about the electric operation of the Camaro roof. I thought all Camaro/Firebird convertibles were manual roof operation?? Maybe this was an option on the early models I'm not aware of..

Sad, but true. Just after I finished college, I was shopping for a new car and the salesman tried to tell me that the Civic Si was 200hp, just like the Prelude I was looking at. Even after I corrected him, he insisted that the "new" ones were 200hp. I just smiled, nodded, and said, "Sure, whatever." Needless to say, I bought a Prelude... but not from that assclown.

Moral of the story... if you want to be a salesman, know your product.

Hi 2KTurkey -

Like I said - many years ago. The car was a '68, and that incident happened in probably '69-'70. I do not believe any of the first generation Camaros had manual tops. Know my old Corvair Corsa was manual - power was an option.

I may be older but sure am wiser - look what I drive now.
