Purchased a Vortech S/C today
I have put down a deposit on the Vortech S/C. It is unfortunatly not shipping until around June 21st. . Oh well! I am posting under a different username than usual because I plan on suprising a few of my friends who frequrnt this board.
I will be installing it myself with the help of a couple of friends. I hope to have the install manual early in June as Vortech says it is not available yet. If any of you have a contact at Vortech or know where I can get the install manual sooner please let me know as I would like to look it over as soon as possible. I will have pics and maybe even some short video clips of the install.
I will be Dynoing as soon as the install is done and I am confident in the install. I expect this to be by end of June assuming that the S/C arrives by the 21st.
I will be posting the Dyno shortly there after.
As of yet I know nothing more than you guys but I will be posting as soon as I find things out.
Thanks
S2K soon to be Vortech S/C'ed

I do not have a stock base line I only have one with my CAI. I suppose I could put the stock airbox back on. Hmmmm, I will consider this as I was not planning on it.
I did get a base dyno but it was messed up due to a poor dyno tech.
I do have an accurate CAI dyno.

Dont worry I will have plenty of pics. The company I bought it from is even going to create a how to doc with my pics. This will be readily available from their site. I plan on having many pics and a right up for this site as well.
Boy, do I wish I didnt have to wait until mid June for this thing.
My Helm Service Manual should be here today. Should be a long painful install but well worth it if I can save $500+. Oh well we'll see.

Good luck with the S/C. Unbortunatly my friend just purchased the vortech S/C for his 00' civic Si (b16a) It came with a oil leak, which was of course fixed @ no charge. But his car is still slow, i made him cry with the S not even getting on it (7500rpm shifts) (from a roll no less, and he missed no gears). IMHO, it was not worth the $ he paid for it, i hope the increase is worthwhile, but yet again, good luck. Mike
