PSA: found a bit o' rust while bleeding clutch
Whilst bleeding my clutch I happened to spill a bit of brake fluid down around the reservoir. Perhaps 2 or 3 drops at most. Anyway, I raced out to the driveway to wash it off and noticed two things. 1) That area below the brake and clutch reservoirs is impossible to reach and 2.) There is some sort of ground wire bolted to the sheet metal right down there and mine was just a bit rusty. Little rust bubbles are already forming under the paint around it, as if the wire is encouraging or causing the oxidation process. This is on a garage kept 2005 with only 15,000 miles that has never been wrecked or taken apart. I will address this ASAP by removing the bolt, sanding the area, touching up the spot with primer and then paint and finally replacing the bolt and coating it in a nice dab of dielectric grease. Just something to look out for before you have actual perforation of the area. I did not get a picture but if you look down there it is the only thing in the vicinity that resembles what I am talking about. It is probably a 10mm bolt. Hope this helps someone avoid a headache.

Went outside to get a picture for the forums and the camera battery is dead.
The offending bolt is pretty much underneath the brake fluid reservoir, a bit toward the front of the car where the hard lines emerge from the master. About 10" from the firewall I think.
