Rick - I'd be in once we start the ball rolling on the earlir model year design/engineeer/produce train. Once that is moving more gracefully, I hope the energies of this fine team will be tempted to dream up a similar insert for the MY04 body style. I would clearly be in line for that, and also BTW for someone who could properly wire DRLs (the 6v high beams used in Canada) in this car. Takers ??

Here's the latest news.

The housing and lens has been designed, and we have found a supplier who will chrome plate the inside of the housing.

The lamps will come with Hella Optilux lamps (about 2.75" diameter, a perfect size for the space) already mounted into the housing (sans the bracket shown in the photo), so it will be a plug and play operation for installation. A wirless remote control for the lamps will also be offered as an option. Here's what the Optilux lamps look like:

We think these compliment the S2000's headlight array. For those of you who are blue lamp junkies, we'll offer the Optilux in the blue version as well as with a black housing. Remember, the Optilux lamps will be mounted in a custom made housing that fits the phony vent space in the bumpers perfectly. The lens will be flush with the bumper surfaces.

It looks like we will be able to hold the price for the whole kit and kaboodle to around $300 plus, or minus $20. If all goes well, we will begin production in 2-3 weeks.

And, yes, hornyhonda, we do ship to England and everywhere else in the world

Good idea Rick... but I have to say that it does looks very ugly, however from a functional point of view, it may have some merit.

Rick, does it look like these might be ready in time for FC04? I'm definitely going to do this, as I really don't like the existing non-functional fake ducts.

I'd volunteer my car to be a test rabbit at FC04 if a clinic would be possible....of course if the lights are in production as of then.
