i dont care how shitty you think your prom will be, GO TO PROM!

 

I guess I'll chime in. I went to prom. Had a great time, and I'm not the biggest "dance party" kind of guy. It didn't cost me that much at all; maybe $150-200. I drove. We went to a pre-party for dinner and a post party after. Lots of fun. While you can't do mods indefinitely into the future, it certainly sounds like you've got a few years before a wife and family come into the picture. Enjoy your car, have a crap load of fun as a kid. Especially as a kid with an awesome car to pull up to prom in. Maybe this was just us in High school, but we didn't do the whole "hotel room thing". As I said, we threw big ass parties. It's cheaper, there was a pool and a hot tub, and if you negotiated right, a bed.

 

Well you definately have memories of prom. If not of an awesome time, you'll remember how much money you spent! Funny thing huh? You will always remember the amount of money you spend on prom. Limo, tux, dinner, corsage, events afterwards... YOU'D DEFINATELY REMEMBER!

 

Someone once said this to me...

"Not Autocrossing an S2000 is like not banging your prom date."

So if that gives you and idea of which one you want to choose.

 

The answer is simple... if you have a date or can find on then go to the prom!
If not then get the mods

 

How about going to the Prom while getting mods. You have an s2000 to show buddy!!! Just buy an airfreshner or take the air box top off so you can some kind of sound.
