Prom or Mods?

PROM!
It shouldn't be too hard to find a date (w/ a car like yours... j/k) You could ask one of your close friends of opposite gender or the same if that what you prefer (I don't know your gender nor your preference). But that's beside the point. If you don't go, you'll kick yourself later (throughout your whole entire life)...
I didn't go to the prom b/c my best friend was in a bind. I had a date and everything was all set up. I was a sr. and she was a jr. She asked me to the prom and I accepted. but I had to turn it down 1 month before the prom... She was pretty cute and popular and there were many guys that wanted to take her to the prom, so I told her the situation and asked her to go and have a great time. (more on this later)...
My best friend (boy) was engaged to my other best friend (girl) and we were all supposed to go to the prom together, rent a limo, rent some rooms at the hotel/after-party, etc... But they ended up breaking up 1 month before the prom. The wedding was off, prom was off, it was pretty bad.
So, I made a pack and told him that I'll stand by and we'll blow off the prom, and just go drinking w/ some other ppl who were not going.
1-2 days before the prom, he got back together w/ his girl and they decided to go. Got a last minute limo, last minute tux, last minute everything... And he didn't have the heart to tell me the new game plan until the day of the PROM. I didn't/couldn't go at that time. What was I going to do? Go by myself, w/o a tux??? So instead, I worked and went home and went to bed and went back into work the next day.
It turns out that my original date went w/ her female friends, and she had a good time. It would've been better if I known about it and I could've gone too, but nope. We talked afterwards and we dated for 3-4 months, she still liked me.
My so called best friend, had a great time. He's now married w/ 2 kids, and he's still one of my best friends.
Me, I regret the fact that I could NOT go to my senior prom. Everytime someone talks about prom or now-a-days, how their kids are going to the prom, I miss it so much.
You may or may not go w/ anyone for the prom, that's your choice. but the party afterwards, it the best. You never know, you may just hook up w/ someone very special that night. And you'll have the pics to remember.
I did go to my jr. prom, but that's NOT the same. OR at least that's what I hear...

I say you do what you want to do. I didn't go to my senior prom because I was new at my school and everyone had developed their clicks by senior year. I had lived overseas from 6th grade until my senior year so I was a bit different than the coonasses I went to school with.
Oh yeah, high school is a fantasy world were other people are more influencial than they should be. College is where it's at unless you go to one that is like a big ass high school.
If you don't want to go, don't go. I can't believe that you can't get a date when you own a S2000 though.

Great bit!
"Before we go any further, let me just say... GET A LIFE, will ya people? I mean you've turned a little show I did for a few years as a lark into a COLOSSAL WASTE OF TIME."
"Really, I mean, how old are you all? What have you done with yourselves? You there, you must be 30... have you ever kissed a girl?"

Prom, because you will have the best car there and you actually own it. Just make sure you take someone who's not worried about messing up their hair! And if you go solo, bring someone home who wants to mess up their hair!
I suppose if you post a pic here you might find another s2k fanatic who would go with you!
On the other hand I'm completely jealous you have an s2k in HS and I still don't have mine yet! I believe my 04 is only months away however Good luck! And just have fun.
