A few weeks ago I posted about sources for braided stainless hose and other bits for enhancing the engine bay (https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=73505). I ordered and installed some of these things. Here are a few photos indicating progress. The arrows in the photos point to polished stainless steel bolt caps, which are available at www.randrspecialty.com They fit over the bolt head with a plastic piece which you place over the head then press the bolt cap over. I think it's attention to these details that make the difference.
I still have more braided hose to install and a few other details to attend to, so I will report back as work goes forward. When it's all done, I'll post photos of details with links to sources for parts.
I think this is work for the obsessed Mike Loving, are you there?

A bit more. The bolt caps weigh an less than an ounce, so they're not adding much. The braided hose is much heavier than the stock hose, though. I'm guessing when I'm all done a few pounds will have been added. But I've also saved a lot. With no spare, the Supersprint exhaust, and AEM intake instead of the stock airbox, at least 50 pounds is gone
