I've used J's exedy hypersingle clutch. I agree about the grab part , it really grabs strong and feels more powerful.
But driving in stop-go city traffic was PITA. Since the pedal is stiffer than stock it makes it really hard to engage in traffic and hills.
So i used it for 1000 miles and i sold it to another guy. I tried to explain the facts of the clutch to the guy but a week later i heard that he burnt the clutch. I think this clutch belongs to a track car not a daily driver.

Glad to here you are having fun with the clutch
I thought the engagement was not bad/easy. I have driven a lot harder/stiffer clutch than the Exedy. Drive an old Vette from the 60s or a GTO 455 HO then we can talk
After a week or two it will feel like nothing at all to you. Reverse may bug you a bit with the chatter but, other than that it drives fine to me.
Just be careful of getting on the car and doing a hard shift, the clutch will grab hard enough to destroy a rear diff

My wife and I have an Exedy Hyper Single on her "built" Civic and that thing is a PITA! Unfortunately the car is our daily driver and driving in traffic with this setup straight up sucks! However, I will agree that it grabs like no other. If you can drop the clutch and mash the gas at any given moment then this package is for you. But, if at anytime you have to baby it good luck.
I have the ACT PP, Comptech flywheel and OEM disc on my FI S2000 and absolutely love it! Grabs very nicely while maintaining the OEM pedal feel.
It all boils down to what you like...different strokes for different folks.

After re-installing the S/C the VTEC solenoid was leaking a little so I tightened up the three bolts holding it down. One of them broke and the remaining part of the bolt is stuck in my head. Out of comission for a few more days. =(

Wow, 6 months later and I absolutely love the clutch still! Put 8,000 miles on it and it still grabs like it did when I put it in. Keep in mind the clutch had mileage on it before I bought it used. I have completely got used to the car again now and have absolutely no problem daily driving it. Now anything else I drive feels like I'm stepping on mashed potatoes.
My left leg is MUCH stronger too.
Love it!
