Default Proclip Or Panavise Mounts

Does anyone have any experience with these and mounting ipods to them. I know the Proclip mounts to the driver's side, but can it be mounted to the passenger side. Can the Panavise mount work with the ipod and how does it connect? Any input or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have an HP iPAQ Pocket PC with 5GB total flash memory. Among other things, I use it as a GPS unit in conjunction with an Earthmate Bluelogger.

Anyway, I spent a lot of time looking for a mount I could be happy with. I was so happy with this GOMADIC windshield unit, I ordered a second one!

Maybe it will work with and iPod, I don't know. It adjusts for different widths.

Thanks for the input. I'm not sure if I want the ipod that high though. I wanted something lower. It's a little too advertised sitting that high up for me.
