problems with leaking!
When it rains for a sustained amount of time like it has here in NC I have a problem with the seals around the window leaking. You know the ons that cover the convertible top and when closed are right at the top of the door. The first section seems to be the problem. Because it fills up with water and when I accelerate or stop water runs out and drips on to my leg. Is there some kind of trick I can do to fix this, or second where can I find a replacement piece for it and how much would it cost? Thanks for any info!!

The only thing is to treat the seals with Shin-Etsu grease (from Honda). It'll help keep the rubber soft and get a slightly better seal. The problem is inherent to the design though, and your gonna run into this alot. I have found that once you roll down the window and let the first bit of water in.....its all over and it'll just keep coming in after you roll it up. So try to keep the seals dry by not rolling down the window on those days.
The (overpriced) tube of grease will last forever and should be used a couple times a year.
Good luck and be safe in the wet.

s2kmaniac81, I have had my S for a couple years now and for the first time about three weeks ago I had this exact same thing happen to me. the front section of weather stripping on the driver side filled up with water which subsequently came pouring out when I came to a stop and it ran forward to the end. In checking it out closely on mine it looked like the outside edge of the stripping right at the front had worked it's way downward and out of it's groove/seat a little, so I pushed it up and tried to work it fully back up into the groove which *seemed* to do the trick. I'm not convinced it's fully fixed or if that was even the issue yet because it's since stopped raining heavily, but I think that may have been it (keeping my fingers crossed). It's surprising how much water can collect in there isn't it?

R11 that is exactly what happened. YOu described it to a T. I will look to see if that is the reason mine was filling up with water. It is very amazing, how much water those little seals can hold. Also it's a big surprise!!!! It scared the heck out of me when it happened. It was morning, crappy day because of the cold and rain I'm not a morning person anyway, so when I get to the end of the street I live on I hit hte brakes and what do I get a buch water on my leg, by the time I got to work it looked as if a dog had pissed on my leg. Anyway it has stopped raining here so It will be sometime till I see if it has stopped
