problems with high speed left turns and 1-2 gear grinding
just bought my 2001 s2000 two weeks ago. i am having problems with high speed left turns. the car boggs down and seems to lose fuel or power, something like that. i noticed other people posting problems similar. what was wrong with yours? is this related to the throw out bearing?
also, what is the deal with grinding between 1-2 gear shifts at high rpms?

this left turn thing your car has is new to me
BUT...the 1st-2nd gear grind is something iv always hated!
i would grind the gears half the time!
iv found a solution to this problem:
if im not driving REALLY hard, i would just shift slowly so that i dont grind
but if im driving real hard....a race or track or such....i learned to powershift
i know it could be hard on the tranny but at least it would always get in gear...and i rarely do powershift
try my solution if you find it to be cool with you

the gas tank has a design flaw, when you make a sharp turn to the left, the gas gets shifted enough to starve the motor. its normal, but not a good thing.
there is a tsb to fix the gear grinding problem. take it to the dealership and see what they say.
