Im trying to order a SRS reel ( i dont even know if thats the right word for it) but the honda dealer has no idea whcih part im talking about..Anyone ave a part number or something. It for an 06 s2k if the year makes a difference, thanks

Nope. 00-05 are the same, 06 is differant. That is the 06 part number.

It is funny, the part guy must have been a moron. Took me all of 1 min to get that number and I don't even work for Honda

If you don't mind me asking, why do you need to replace it anyway?

You do know that some folks sell that here on S2ki.com. In fact, I know someone with an 06 wheel and airbag that is selling it. Not stolen, just swapped out on his show car for an aftermarket wheel. If you are interested, PM me and I will forward it to him.

 

Honda calls it a cable reel but it is mroe commonly referred to as teh clock spring.
