Pro racers that own, have driven or have talked about the s2000
Slow morning here at work, so I did some google web searches looking for famous race-car drivers and s2000s.
Does anyone know of racers that own s2000s?
Here are some clips from some articles I've found. And I couldn't find an article I read a while ago with Jarno Trulli in his s2000.
Frentzen And Hill Meet In Monaco
Friday April 6th 2001
Earlier this week, 1999 Jordan team mates, Heinz-Harald Frentzen and Damon Hill were reunited when Hill, who now writes for F1Racing magazine, flew to Monaco.
Hill, former F1 World Champion-turned-journalist, writes a regular feature in F1 Racing where he interviews current F1 drivers.
In May's edition, Hill's feature will be with Frentzen.
Apparently, the two drivers chatted over lunch in the Stars and Bars restaurant, down in the Monaco harbour, before Frentzen took Hill for a spin around the narrow Monaco streets in his Honda S2000.
The article should make for some interesting reading, as it covers topics from racing at Williams, to traction control, to fashions in hair styles!

Villeneuve and Sato fire up Fuji TV F1 Super Run
Thousands of people in the Odaiba district of Tokyo celebrated the national holiday on Monday (8 October) at a unique event organised by Fuji TV in conjunction with BAR-Honda.
The Fuji TV F1 Super Run was held on a 535m course specially laid out in a giant parking lot in the heart of Tokyo's fashionable waterfront district. The demonstration featured BAR-Honda's Jacques Villeneuve in a Honda S2000 and test driver Takuma Sato in one of the team's F1 machines, together with a vintage 1967 Honda RA300.

Dario rates new Rockingham oval Scottish CART ace impressed by new British track
British Champ Car star Dario Franchitti has given the thumbs-up to the new Rockingham oval circuit which hosts Britain's round of the CART series on September 22, and predicts there will be plenty of overtaking. Franchitti got a sneak preview of what to expect next month when he drove round the circuit in a Honda S2000 sportscar. The Scot, who lies third in the CART standings, said his first impressions were good.
"It looks great," "It looks like a great facility but it's difficult to say what it is like because I haven't driven around it in anger. I've driven it in the Honda S2000, but until you do it in anger I won't be able to say what it is really like. My first impression was that it was smooth, no bumps, it looks like there are plenty of opportunities for overtaking. The last time I had been here was March and it is incredible to see the amount of changes there have been."

If your "office" is an 800-horsepower race car that is capable of speeds of more than 240 mph, what do you drive home from work? Well, if you're Paul Tracy, it's usually something head turning.
"When you drive race cars for a living you tend to look at street cars for their visual appeal," says Tracy. His current "head turner" is one of the new Honda S2000 sport cars. "It's a little two-seat convertible that I can run around town in doing errands and still have some fun. It's a new model so there aren't a lot of them on the road and people are always trying to figure out what it is. They're quite impressed when they realize it's a Honda. It's not your typical Honda."

Gabriele Tarquini (former F1 driver) did a review of the car before its release; the videos (3 parts) are floating around the web. He concluded by saying "for sure, I will be on the waiting list to have this car".
Also, although you might not say it "counts", Parker Johnstone (ex-CART driver, now announcer) drove the car back to back against the Boxster for an official Honda "dealer training and information" video, and of course gave it rave reviews.
