personally id do it myself for not even less than a quarter of the price.. Although if he really does the filter for that price not bad, those things are a pain to do since its more of a fuel sock not a filter

not a terrible price, personally i dont think the coolant flush or the fuel filter is necessary. as stated before me i would highly recommend you do it yourself, most of that is very easy and just takes time but it can divided up into manageable chunks for almost any schedule.

still, kudos for wanting to treat your baby right

how many miles are on it?

575 is a bit high IMO. Some of the filters are hard to change though

Changing the fuel filter isn't necessary.
Coolant fluid change aren't necessary, yet. Your profile says you have an '05, so coolant change isn't due for another three years.

You didn't list it, but you should also change the clutch fluid and should consider inspecting/adjusting the valve lash clearance.

All of that stuff is pretty easy. Where are you located? Maybe there's someone local who can give you a hand or do it a for a better price.

at the dealership I work at brake flush/diff service and trans service at $100 each (we use synthetic gear oil and synthetic MTF) Coolant flush is like $130, cabin filter is 40, spark plugs would be around $180 depending on which plug it gets. regular oil change is around 30, synthetic is around 80 ( we use either mobil 1 or amsoil)

The only fuel filter is in the tank.. not something anyone would ever change.

They recommend coolant flush at 5 years/100k miles, 2 years/20k on brake fluid, trans and diff service at 30k. Cabin Filter at once year.

My local Honda quoted me on price and quantity:
  • Brake Fluid $ 6.00/ea
  • Transmission Fluid $ 7.88 a QT (needs two)
  • Honda OEM Coolant $20.00 a Gal (Needs 1, Idk if its 50/50 premixed)
  • Diff (Didn't carry, said to use Mobile-1 Synthetic LSD GL5)

Science Of Speed wanted $ 110.00 to change transmission and differential fluid. And $ 150.00 for Clutch and Brake fluid change.
