Rarer than hardtop thefts are S2000 owners that are thieves. I've never heard of even one.

that's true. I have an alarm on mine, but i wouldnt mind the piece of mind to have some sort of bar installed. im going to look into this.

It would happen, but it is big so one would need to plan for it. I bet if you're in a condo type parking lot (shared) it would happen eventually. And it's sooooo easy. Lucky I have a home with my own garage.

I think the chances happening on the street is tough, given that the thieves would need a truck and opportunity, etc. The stars have to be aligned.

But if you had a shared parking lot, I would say the chances of theft are upped substantially.

I don't think that's necessarily true as my friend's was parked on the street and his was stolen. The bottom line is that if they really want it, they will get it.
