I have posted about this before.
If the headlights are adjusted with no weight in the car, then when there is 1 or 2 people in the car the headlights can be high. If you have any weight in the trunk it can also make the headlights high. 100 lbs in the trunk will lift the headlights over 2 inches at 25 feet.
The best thing to do is take it to the dealer and with a 1 or 2 people in the car or even with about 100 lbs in the trunk, have the lights adjusted.
OR
Have the standard service manual procedure done (beam 2.1 inch below the dot on the headlight at 25 feet) but at 25 feet have the beam an additional 1 inch lower than the specification. I do that to all my HID cars and have very few problems with oncoming drivers. I don't miss that additional inch on top.

I'm in the process of making a "cockpit headlight adjuster" so that u can move some slider switches and adjust the height of the headlight beams individually. I want to be able to wink my lights at people that are in my way

I get flashed all the time ever since I got the car...it used to pi$$ me off at first, but I kinda got used to it....just another "attention-getter" if you ask me (as if someone driving a spa yellow S needed to draw more attention!)

Getting flashed for hi-beams probably depends on where you live. I've never been flashed. Probably because the people in LA are used to HIDs, or their just scared that they might get shot for flashing you

Ha thats nothing. I have pulled people over on the freeway before. We have HID rage out her in san diego. Mainly due to the abundance of X5's with them. They have been brought up in court as reasons for accidents and a lot of other stupid things as well.
Personally with my car, stock adjustment on the HID's and 18's with very stiff sidewalls on my tires mine flash a lot more then most. It's been getting better lately or I really just have stopped caring because I have not had someone follow me down the freeway with there high beams on for a while.
Also KT nice to see you back on the board, looking forward to the next meet.
