I have a question.

In my car when I am inside with the car running and I hit the drivers door lock, it locks both sides. if trying to unlock however, I have to reach over to the passenger side to unlock the passenger door manually. Is this normal?

Other cars I have had with power locks, u can unlock all the doors at once.

As of now, this is the S2000's only feature that I could complain about. Having to manually reach over to the passenger side to unlock the door to let someone in. I'll deal with it.

Yeah, that's normal, unfortunately. If you're outside the car, you can just hit the unlock button on your keyless remote twice to unlock both the driver and passenger doors.

It's designed that way so a bad guy can't jump in the car with you when you unlock your door. I think it was originally made for soccer moms in four-doors for safety.

I agree it's a pain. Probably a soccer-mom thing despite our cars not being child-friendly anyway. Any of you have fat passengers that engage the child-seat seatbelt lockout? kinda funny watching them try to deal with it.

Yea Honda, where is the lock/unlock button that is found on just about every other car in the world? This would be vey simple for Honda to add. Easier than the much speculated glass rear window. Tell me Honda doesn't do it this way in all there cars?

There is no button in the car to lock/unlock doors. You only have a fob and it will not work when key is in the ignition. Try it and see!

Ok...Here's the thing, when my key's in the ignition, with both doors locked and I want to unlock the passenger side door to let someone in, all I do is unlock my door, and that automatically unlocks the passenger side door...
