My favorite moment occurred two years ago in May when my car was six months old. One warm day I put down the top and much to my amazement the top retracted farther than it ever had before and revealed the four pins for attaching the cover. I was amazed. All my months of struggling to take the cover on or off was ended. Finally, I discovered my top had never previously retracted properly.

 

Almost every day when someone asks "What kind of car is that?" and I respond "It's a Honda." (with Rick's badges, there's no Honda logo on the car)

 

The one stand out memory was when my wife and I were driving home behind a couple of guys in their new Infiniti G35, changing lanes all over the place, punching it off the line, they had a air of egotism surrounding the driving.
We get to a red light, the driver looks at the S with a "only a 4 cylinder" smirk, I look at my wife and ask for permission to "exceed the 35 mph speed limit", she gives the unexpected, "ok".
Light turns green, we go at it, top of 3rd, VTEC fury, I got a full car length on this character, he stops racing, then we slow down, I can see the amazement on his and his buddy's faces like, "huh? I got a 275 hp Six?"
When I parked the S at home a minute later, I actually kissed the hood, and remarked "awesome freakin' car", that just made my week, month, year?!!!! Soy, loving the S

 

So many options for this.
1st time I sat in the seat, followed by a test drive where the salesman had me push the rpms far into VTEC while accelerating hard into an uphill turn
about a week ago, when dumbo here finally got new rear tires, and rexperienced being able to push a bit in a turn!

 

First time I took my 15 year old on a fast drive thought the twisties. I saw a smile on his face that I hadn't seen in years.

 

Not my favourite moment, but certainly moments like this is where I know exactly why I own s2000:: clip (Divx 5.0.5 needed)
