Default Possibly wrong oil used in S

Hi everyone just wanted some input. I just got a oil changed done for my S today at my local dealership that I have been using this summer (just got car in Oct). Well my first oil change I switched over to Mobil 10w-30. I was charged $66 dollars which at the time I thought was high but read what others pay lol. On the receipt it said 10w-30 Mobil 1. Than when I got my second oil change of the summer same thing but this time I was charged $88 turned out last time was a mistake and I wasn't billed for labor etc. Now this morning after my oil change I was charged $60 so I told this guy it might be a mistake and I asked if Mobil one was used. He told me that synthetic was used and that the S's always uses it which I don't believe is right. Well I'm sitting in my office reading the bill and on my bill the oil that was used reads MOTO 5359393 not Mobil 1. I think the used the oil that S's come with stock. No my question is could this be a situation for damage to my engine and car. I know when you switch to synthetic that you can't go back to using regular oil due to the lubrication (use 20w-50 in my turbo neon). Any help in this matter would be most appreciated. Thanks.

you can go back.. thats a bunch of malarky. As long as the right viscosity oil was used you're fine..

If you don't like dino oil in your F20C, just change it.

As long as the oil is the right grade/viscosity, you are OK. Just do oil changes yourself from now on to avoid this kind of headaches.

1st.. Don't tell anyone you owned a turbo Neon

2nd.. You are taking this car to a dealership correct? And they are charging that much?!?! My Honda dealership charges $26.00 for an oil change WITH Mobil.

3rd.. You had dinolube and they put in the Syn, now they had switched it back to Dinolube.. I would take it back and tell them to do it right if you are unhappy with the service you recieved (make sure to bring your other reciepts). The S2000 does NOT come with synthetics stock, that guy is an idiot. Take the car back, ask to speak with the manager.

You are paying a rediculous amout for the oil change, make sure you get your money's worth and it is being done right. Good luck!

but if s2000's come with conventional oil from the factory wouldn't them putting it back in after me switching over to synthetic cause a problem? Thanks for responding.

lol hey I made peace with it. I won't lie though I love neons very easy to work on and mod. I'm a mopar man from the very beginning never was a honda fan. Plus it's too much fun spanking nsx, stags and recently a gt500 with a sohc 4 banger lol. Again thanks for everyones input so far. I'm just worried about damage to the car. I baby it too much lol. Thanks.

Thanks for everyone's input into this matter. I think I will go with Mulder's suggestion on telling them to redo it. I know everyone said no ill can come from using the regular oil after synthetic but I just have this nagging feeling in the back of my head telling me to get it fixed. Thanks again for the help.

even though it will do no harm, personally I would go back and have them fix it if it were my car as well.
