Thanks.

I may just have to find out on my own and install my Wet Okoles at the same time. Hmm.

Ive only taken my driver seat out once, but do you think the rails are lined up differently?

I would think you could do it. If not, I know for sure you can just switch out the leather cover. Of course you would need hog ring plyers to put them back on. You might be able just to swap out the whole seat. Is the seatbelt clip attached or is it bolted on seperately?

This is something I experimented with a couple years ago when I noticed some wearing. I took the advice of another member here on the site that had done a small D.I.Y. on it (I'll look to see if I can find that thread). Anyway, I did the whole deal of pulling the seats out, undoing the bottom pad from the pan. As I discovered, there is an extra loop of metal welded on to the pan that corresponds to each side of the car. In other words, inside the bolster on the drivers side is reinforced on the left while the passengers side is on the right. This bar must be there to help reduce fatigue of the foam padding. Without it we would mash the bolster pretty bad as we get in and out.

The only way to switch bottoms AND keep the reinforcements as they were designed is to undo the leather/padding completely. This includes cutting the bull-rings that snug up the leather to the bottom pan. Then you'd have to reattach with new rings and zip ties after flipping sides. The pad will also need to be notched to accomodate the bar.

You CAN switch sides and skip all of this, but that "fresh" side probably won't stay that way very long without the inner bar.

edit....Cyclon, you type faster than I do!
