Portable cig-powered impact wrench/jack
This looks pretty handy, I'd like to get one. Does anyone have one of these? (btw, before I get flamed, for REMOVAL only! )
Power Tire changing kit at Brookstone
Brookstone has it for $130. I did a search or two and couldn't find any cheaper outlets for a similar product (only 3 or 4 matches)... this is surprising since Brookstone is usually expensive. Anyone know of anywhere else to get something like this?

I have a cheap one I got from Harbor Freight. Plugs into the cig lighter, has a case and sockets. Still is working fine after almost 6 years. I used it to change race tires at AutoX events when I had the Miata and for snow tire change over in the winter.
Looks similar to this one (maybe the same one?) on sale for $20.

I should have mentioned, I have an 110v AC operated one I use most of the time now. Also from Harbor Frieght, and also cheap. I will try to run down the link - it is a "Chicago Tools" brand. It did not come with a carry case or impact sockets and is a lot heavier than the 12v one - but I has an easier time of getting the lugs off if you have an AC outlet handy.
The 12v impact "winds up" and hits, then "winds up" and hits (hard to describe, but it eventually works). I have a 2' breaker bar (also cheap from Harbor Frieght) I use to loosen the lugs. Just a 1/4 turn on each or so with the breaker bar, then zip them off with the electric impact gun. Makes the gun not work so hard and last longer.
My torque wrenches also came from them, $19 or so on sale for a nice 1/2" drive one in a plastic case. I checked it against a "fancy" Craftsman and the setting was spot on. If you drop it, just buy another
HF stuff is cheap, but I have several things I got from them that work real well. Now that they have a store in town, I can go down and check things out before I buy (but have to pay tax).

DWynne,
I knew there was something else to order from HF... a breaker bar. In the meantime, I'm just planning to buy some steel pipe to slide over the lug wrench to help get more leverage.
I know what you're talking about w/ the Chicago brand, they've got several cheapy models under that brand on HF. The 12V version is rated at 200lbsft but only 10-20 hits/min, whereas the AC powered one ($50) is 240lbs ft and 2400 hits/min.
Here's the other one (if anyone is interested):

To my dismay, I discovered HF charges a "handling fee" on their orders... an extra $5.95 for no good reason!
