I got a small dent in the rear quarter panel that looks like it can be popped out easily. From a search, people seemed to recommend Dent Wizard. But I was wonder if anyone tried to pop out their own dent.
I was thinking of using one of those glue or small suction devices and yank out the dent. Anyone have any experience with this?
I got stuck in a slush covered parking lot and had people push me out. One guy pushed too hard and the rear quarter panel dented in. I'm not mad since the guy was trying to help. But it just hurts to see the 1 month old S with the blemish . The panels really are thin!
Thanks!

I had a dent in the rear quarter panel and the guy took off the rear light and got behind the dent to push it out using some long wire-like device. I doubt a suction cup is going to do much so you'll probably have to get behind it. If I were you, I'd rather have someone fix it that has experience with repairing dents rather than risk potentially screwing up the metal even more.

Nice to hear that there is another S in Reston!
You might want to wait until it warms up and try putting a bag of ice on the dent as that has worked for me in the past (with other cars).

I have one of those.
It works alright, it is not perfect but it generally does a pretty good job. I have never gotten a dent completely out but I have reduced them to the point where other people don't seem to notice them. It takes quite a few times to get them out. Each time the dent seems to shrink just a little bit but never completely disappears.
For any old car the DIY dent puller thing is neat... For the S is anything less than a new body panel and a repaint of the entire car adequate?

Get it done professionally and don't waste your time with any of that crap like the Ding King because they don't work, and you might even make it worse. Save yourself a hassle and get it done right.
