Are you paying $400 per month in insurance or $400 every 6 months?

Luckily, the car was paid in cash and insurance is only about 80 bucks a month. But the car itself has gotten me into so much troubles with traffic tickets and all. I'm feeling so much hatred toward the car.

and 150/mo on tires? how can you be going through tires so fast? autox?

The last 150/mo is on tires, small damage repairs, all those cleaning supplies added up averaged out. Pretty much all car related miscellaneous expenses. Tires alone is maybe 70/mo.

In VA, property tax is paid on your car, and gets pretty high for cars over $20K. It's the only state that I know of w/ car property tax. I had to pay it on my Corolla last year based on this forumla. If any VA owners got around this, I'd like to hear it.

$380/ month plus $100/ month is great. I'm paying $560/ month plus insurance. But I only have liability ($94/ month) because I am hard headed and refuse to pay $240/ month for full coverage. I just got a speeding ticket last night too. I was doing 60 in a 45. I'm a real speed demon.
