I know this is OT - but... I love my car. In fact I obsess over it. So why is it that I have been wanting to trade it in on a 4 door sedan like the 02' IS 300 or TL-S???

Are you fed up with having your hair blown about? A nice
Lexus will fix that.

Sedans take longer to clean! (bigger)
Sedans are inconspicuous!!

What do you want from a car? Or do you just want a
change? Either way - DONT GO INTO THE LIGHT!

I can't put my finger on it... Part of it is how much tires cost and how often I need to replace them. Part of it is I can get my money out of the car now, but will I be able to in a year or two? Part of it is a rough ride now that I am driving the car almost every day. Part of it is that weird noise (apparently normal) in the tranny and diff.

On the flipside... It runs like a bat outta hell... It takes corners I only dreamed about before. It is unique. It is a Honda.

I am still cloudy...

Part of your "delusional state" is self inflicted and is not likely to go away even after you get another car.

You can take the S2000 for what it is and stop modding it - that will save you money. Tires do wear - some faster than others - the faster they wear, the more fun you've had. The IS300 or TL-S if using the tires that maximize grip are likely to wear out just as quickly. You can spend more to mod those two cars.

Want a compromise? Try an Integra R or the upcoming RSX.

Thanks for the replies. I have a beater now - 90' chevy cavalier. I hate it. What is an RSX? I have not heard of this yet. I will probably keep the car - my wife tells me if I sell it I will never be the same and will slump into depression. She is probably correct....

The RSX is Acura's new replacement for the Integra line.
