Look ppl lemme worry about not wearing a seat belt. I asked how to disconnect the damn light and the beeping sound it made. I knew it was going to turn out like this anyway. Thanks to all the ppl with helpful posts.

Not trying to be an a$$ here but wearing a seatbelt is not only important in a crash, its also important in avoiding one. If you like to take turns very hard, of if you ever spin out, the seatbelt is going to keep you firmly in place and you'll have better control of the car to correct it.

I'm tired of everyone saying what you should and should not do. If someone wants to risk their life by not wearing a seatbelt are hemet it should be their choice! The goverment is always trying to be our mother instead of treating us like adults. Once you reach a certian age you know the risk involved and if you are competent enough to have a licence then then you are competent enough to make these type of choices by your self. You can flame me all you want i believe you should have the power to make choices for your self.

It really isn't our job to police people.
I agree that wearing a seatbelt is the intelligent thing to do... But the beeping sound is kind of annoying to some people.
I also feel weird not wearing a seatbelt when I am driving... And now that it is illegal not to wear one I think the chocie is simple to me.
If you don't think your life is worth two seconds of putting a seatbelt on then go for it. I really don't have any problem with people removing themselves from the gene pool.

I think the original question has been answered. A new thread should be started if anyone wants to debate the moral and legal implicantions of not wearing a seat belt. This thread should be closed. The original thread starter can do this using the admin options at the bottom right of this thread.
