Default Please Help

Hey everyone, I was recently thinking about getting an s2000 and I was curious if anyone could give me some information about how the hardtops are vs the normal softtop model in the amount of wind noise and all that other junk that comes with convertibles. Thanks in advance

Hardtop will decrease wind noise significantly. However the car in itself is very noisy so don't expect it to feel like a luxury sedan just because of a hardtop.

does anyone have an experience with how easy it is to remove/maintain the hardtop for an s2000?

After it is installed, it is a breeze to remove, like you can do it in literally two minutes. Not sure what you mean by maintenance.

You clean it like the rest of the car if that is what you mean by maintance.

It only takes a minute to take off the car....4 hinges.

The car is still loud with the hardtop on....but it is quieter

ahh good stuff, thanks!

i meant maintenance as in is it flimsy and easy to break and you would have to be extra careful not to break anythign while moving it around.

It weighs too much to be considered flimsy (44lbs). Due to its size, it takes 2 people or a hoist to deal with it.

Note that with the top on, you will hear engine and gearbox noise far more. Wind noise is greatly reduced.
