well ive only had the car for a year and i mean i should put to good use the 7 year 100,000 mile warranty. well, i guess i gotta go hardtop then

Hey, I don't see how it hurts you to at least try it with the dealer.
I know a couple of folks who got dealer replacements of their MY00-01 tops with the MY02+ glass-window tops, but they had tears in the material due to rubbing, and apparently the dealers saw that as reason for warrantee coverage. I'm not sure they'll do it if it's just normal wear or a result of bad care. Good luck.

Actually glass is the way to go. MuzMat is great though if you want the plastic. I used to have plastic and I'm not missing it a bit.
