Plastic Window All Scratched Up...Cant See A Thing!!

I used Meguiars clear plastci cleaner. Works awesome! Though i think i may need to put another coat on soon, or definately in the spring

well ive only had the car for a year and i mean i should put to good use the 7 year 100,000 mile warranty. well, i guess i gotta go hardtop then

Hey, I don't see how it hurts you to at least try it with the dealer.

I know a couple of folks who got dealer replacements of their MY00-01 tops with the MY02+ glass-window tops, but they had tears in the material due to rubbing, and apparently the dealers saw that as reason for warrantee coverage. I'm not sure they'll do it if it's just normal wear or a result of bad care. Good luck.

Does the plastic piece just zips out for replacement? Anyone know how much the plastic piece replacement costs?

I don't think it zips off all the way. When it's less cold out, I was going to unzip it. Cuz I can't see anything out of the back.

No, it's riveted on the bottom. The zipper is pointless.

Actually glass is the way to go. MuzMat is great though if you want the plastic. I used to have plastic and I'm not missing it a bit.
