Plastic Window All Scratched Up...Cant See A Thing!!
hey guys,
i was wondering if honda would replace my plastic rear window. I cant see a thing out the back. and it was already alittle bit scratched up when i bought the car. i have a 7 year 100,000 mile warranty on the car. would they replace it? or would i have to pay for it? im planning on getting a hardtop one day in the near future, but it wont be for awhile so i rather have my window replaced. has anyone ever had theirs replaced at no charge with a warranty? thanks guys

Some dealers will and have replaced it under warranty. I'd ask around. When you do get a new one, get a Muz matt and one of those plastic window straighteners to keep the second one clear, or get an 03 top like I did

I doubt they'll replace it after this long. The plastic window hasn't been around in 3 years so either you bought the car used or you've had it for that long. If it's used they'll say the previous owner didn't take care of it properly. If you got it 3-4 years ago they'll wonder why it took you this long to bring the issue up. You can always ask them about it but I think your chances are slim. Try some Plexus and/or the Meguiars stuff people have been using on the window. They seem to help.
