Once in a while when I put the top down...the plastic window wrinkles up on itself instead of folding in half.
Mine does that once in awhile as well. It usually happens when the window is concave at the fold point when the top opens. What I usually do is when the top is half open, I get out of the car and check the shape of the window. If it's concave I just push it in so that the window folds in half and continue to open the top.

For others with haze and distortions try Plexus, it really works.

I have a question for you guys...

Once in a while when I put the top down...the plastic window wrinkles up on itself instead of folding in half.
In the end...I get this small crease at the center top of the window, and it annoys me.

What's up with that?
Put a Pool Noodle where the top meets the back of the car before you put it down. It will fall in the the well and prevent the window from folding... instead the noodle makes the plastic wrap around it.

Does that make sense.

Jaykkub,
Do you have pictures of your window before replacement? I'd like to find out the point at which I should get mine replaced. Also, what dealer did you go to in SD?

Yep, the noodle and the Plexus. An unbeatable combo. Our window was pretty hazy when we got the car (bought used), but these two things made a HUGE difference.

My rear window was foggy, but I cleaned it with some products from the FAQ and it turned out nice.

Jaykkub you are lucky you are getting a new window. It'll be really nice until it fogs up again I had the rear window on my old Miata replaced after four years and the difference was incredible.

Speaking of...they sold the Miata to a new guy and he wants the spare tire (which I haven't had for some time). Apparently they are having trouble finding a four lug spare tire.

Plexus rocks. It makes a huge difference.

This is a good site for any and all cleaning products (they don't carry Zaino though):

When it gets replaced I'll be sure to get some Plexus and a tube to use against creasing. Thanks..
