Plastic rear window..

This question is very often asked.
Most people seem to prefer a product called "Plexus" and I have to admit that in fact it does an outstanding job.

Okay, at the risk of being tarred and feathered, I'm going to disagree. I've tried Plexus and Prist (an aircraft plexiglass cleaner). The Plexus was too greasy and the Prist was too thin. My local honda parts man is a Gold Wing enthusiast. He talked me into trying the Honda Plastic Cleaner that is typically used on motorcycle fairings and windscreens. It just kicks ass. Cleans great with no residue, particularly on the haze that forms on the interior side of the window. Now for removing scratches, Meguiars is good stuff. But, no kidding, the best is Kit Scratch-Out. It takes some gut to use it, but trust me it works great, and says it's fine for clear plastic right on the label. You can even use a palm sander with a terry cloth towel to apply.

As a follow up, I used some Kit Scratch Remover on the rear window and it did a beautiful job. Cleared it up and removed scratches. Thought this might be of interest as it is cheap. easily available and works well.
