Cthree-
I wish I could post my thoughts on this subject as eloquently and succinctly as Rick Hessel did, but I can't. So let me just say ditto his post.
I have gotten a tremendous amount of knowledge, insight and even amusement from this board. I appreciate it every day. I hope that we can all practice common courtesy and be man/woman enough to walk away from a verbal fight and be the better person for it.

if all else fails perhaps we could interest a few sponsors to back a pay-per-view grudge match. seriously, thanks, a little is okay, but the recent level of personal attacking has gotten way out of hand.

Your attitude is exactly why I keep up with this board (though I don't have an S2000). It is also yet another reason I am counting my pennies towards an S2000 purchase.
Keep up the good work.

I assume you're talking about some of the personal mud slinging that we've all read when different opinions get hot. It makes me glad I can pick and choice to ignore, for the most part, threads that likely contain such a waste of energy. You have my full support - if it continues, push their button for good.

I support this move completely. I have been thoroughly dismayed at the degradation of the quality of posts on this board recently.
Many posts start entirely innocently and get hijacked by individuals with a personal score to settle. This does nothing to foster the goodwill born in the S2000 community almost entirely by this board.
For my parts in these skermishes I apologise. My goal from now on is to enhance the sense of community S2000 owners and enthusiasts experience on this board.

Well said AUS2000. The community agrees with you 100% Eric! Go to certain other boards and you will see what non-intervention has led to. I have noticed a real deterioration here in the last few months. Less knowledge about the car and issues and more "bashing". Tighten the noose and adopt a zero tolerance policy. Trolls are one thing but A**holes are another!

Hey C3-
I've advocated for more control over the posting policies now for a long time- and even just recently in at least three different threads. Thanks for finally making it apparent to the many people here that you don't tolerate this sort of thing.
Free speech is one thing. The privilege of using a conduit to speak to many is another.
Don't confuse the right to free speech with the privilege of using someone's domain.
